Want to be an Interaction Designer?

As an aspiring Interaction Designer, I went through the same confusions that you are going through. You want to know everything about it but dont know where to look. In the beginning you find loads of information, but after a point there is nothing new. To make it easier for you, here is a collection of some really good links that I have found on my journey so far. Hope it is helpful.

Hi Raja,

I have applied for a Masters degree in this field and I am waiting for the response. I am also working for a healthcare company as a Media Planning Strategist. I do not know much about internships. Yahoo has some jobs but i dont know if they take interns. Heres an internship opportunity I found on a quick search : http://www.ixda.org/node/27584 . I am sure if you google you will find more. You can also try freelancing to get some exposure. There are plenty of freelancing sites like elance.com, etc.

Hi Nishita,

I got my Computer Science graduation done in MSRIT, and had no clue about UXD intially. But it all started when i explored frog design studio at my company, could not stop thinking what more i need to flock along those designers.
It is great to see somebody like you sharing experiences that would contribute so much for somebody’s research.
I completed an online course from stanford on HCI, it has been wonderful and now planning to pursue masters in HCI.

And thanks a lot for the info on UXD! :) Good luck to you!
